Stuller Website to Mark AGTA-Sourced Gemstones

In a new partnership, Stuller will add a designation to the colored gemstones on its website that were sourced by AGTA member vendors.
Dallas—The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has partnered with Stuller, Inc., to mark the colored gemstones on Stuller’s website that were sourced by AGTA member vendors.
Adding a badge to these gemstones helps jewelers identify suppliers who meet AGTA’s standards, said the association, and it increases visibility for its member vendors committed to fair and transparent trade practices.
The partnership is built on shared values, and it supports education, fair business practices, and integrity across the colored gemstone industry, the collaborators said.
Alissa Talbot, executive director of diamonds and gemstones at Stuller, said the designation adds value to the shopping experience.
“By providing visibility to gemstones sourced from AGTA member vendors, we’re giving our customers an added layer of transparency and trust when they purchase,” she said.
Bruce Bridges, president of the AGTA board of directors, said “Each gem comes from vendors committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and the principles of fair business. The AGTA logo is a mark of trust, allowing customers to buy with confidence and pass that confidence on with every creation.”
