Rio Grande Says These Are the Top Personalization Tools for 2026

Albuquerque, N.M.—As the new year kicks off, Rio Grande has curated a list of tools it says will enhance jewelers’ in-house customization offerings.

The round-up, which the supplier put together in response to rising consumer demand for personalized jewelry, highlights its best-selling personalization tools.

“Personalization is no longer optional; it’s a core strategy for jewelers who want to stay competitive,” said Amy Jaramillo, director of merchandising at Rio Grande.

“The right tools allow makers to offer faster turnaround, higher-quality results, and limitless creative possibilities.”

First up is a true color metal-engraving system.

The xTool F2 Ultra Portable Laser Engraver Bundle (Item No. 202308) features a 40-watt Diode laser and a 60-watt MOPA laser that can produce more than 100 vivid tones on stainless steel, titanium, and precious metals.

The dual-laser system is combined with dual 48 MP AI cameras for accuracy, detail, and speed in both one-off pieces and high-volume production.

The fully enclosed system uses intuitive software with one-click material presets, allowing for safe and quick workflow integration, the supplier said.

The bundle includes the RA2 Pro Rotary attachment for engraving rings and other curved pieces, a conveyor belt for consistent batch processing, and the SafetyPro AP2 air purifier.

The supplier is also highlighting tools for customized metal work.

The Bonny Doon 20-Ton Press Kits (Item No. 110603 and Item No. 110565) allow jewelers to stamp, roll, or emboss metals with their own designs before pressing it into rings, pendants, bracelets, or earrings.

It works with base metals, silver, titanium, and gold.

Paired with the Bonny Doon Mini Coining Die Shot Plates Deluxe Kit (Item No. 110386), the system enables jewelers to generate production-ready patterns.

For end-to-end personalization workflow, the press can also be used to form components engraved with the xtool F2 Ultra.

For fine repairs, intricate assembly, and precise micro-level customization, Rio Grande is highlighting micro TIG welding tools like the PUK 6 Pulse Arc Welder (Item No. 503036).

The PUK 6 enables precise work with minimal heat distortion, allowing artisans to repair, assemble, or customize delicate pieces with smooth, nearly invisible joints.
