So Sweet: Brilliant Earth x Ring Pop Is a Nostalgic Treat
Featured

Brilliant Earth and Bazooka Brands are taking jewelry to a sweet new level—they’ve created a candy-inspired cocktail ring that turns the iconic Ring Pop into an oversize gemmy treat.
In the limited-edition Ring Pop collection (out today), Brilliant Earth uses vibrant lab-grown colored gemstones that mirror Ring Pop’s classic colors. For each ring, the stone is set on a 14k gold band with Brilliant Earth’s signature Secret Halo setting, making the silhouette look larger and bit cartoony—and that’s the fun of it.
Brilliant Earth x Ring Pop jewels, which retail for $1,790 each, come in five “flavors”: Strawberry Sweetheart pink sapphire, Watermelon Crush green sapphire, Berry Burst amethyst, Cherry Darling ruby, and Raspberry Spark Swiss blue topaz. Put one on to add a touch of whimsy to an evening out, when you want all eyes on you while doing everyday activities, or maybe even for a playground proposal,

Original Ring Pops are worn alongside their Brilliant Earth counterparts.
In a statement, Brilliant Earth said the Ring Pop collection taps into the sense of play that millennial and Gen Z consumers want in fine jewelry and reminds them, and their Gen X parents, of childhood.
Just as candy Ring Pops were passed out at birthday parties or after-school events, the jewelry Ring Pops can be part of special occasions. (A Gen X mom may like the Raspberry Spark ring as a holiday gift this year.)
“At Brilliant Earth, we believe jewelry should feel joyful and personal, which is exactly what makes this partnership so special,” said Pamela Catlett, chief brand officer at Brilliant Earth. “Ring Pop captures the nostalgia of wearing your first ring, and we’re bringing that feeling full-circle with a limited-edition collection designed for the milestones that matter now.”

The Brilliant Earth x Ring Pop collection features lab-grown stones in Cherry Darling, Watermelon Crush, Berry Burst, Strawberry Sweetheart, and Raspberry Spark Swiss colors.
The Ring Pop has previously shown up in other jewelers’ designs, as have other favorite candies—Nadine Ghosn has done several candy-inspired pieces, including limited-edition candy heart bracelets that sold out.
“Ring Pop has always been a symbol of celebration,” said Joanna Firestone, director of marketing at Bazooka Brands, which produces Ring Pops, Bazooka gum, and other candy products. “This partnership invites consumers to experience our brand and celebrate life’s moments with even more joy and sophistication.
“Brilliant Earth did an incredible job taking our top-selling Ring Pop flavors and transforming them into a playful collection of chic and timeless jewels,” Firestone adds. “This capsule collection embodies the powerful nostalgia of our brand and showcases an evolution of how our consumers can carry us forward.”
