CD Peacock Honors Its Hometown of Chicago in First Bridal Collection

Oak Brook, Ill.—CD Peacock, a 187-year-old family-owned jeweler based in Chicago, has released its first in-house collection.

The “Love and Celebration” collection features engagement rings, wedding bands, and celebration rings with women’s, men’s, and gender-neutral designs.

The more than 200 pieces were inspired by Chicago’s architecture and neighborhoods, along with the countless love stories that have ties to the city, explained the jeweler.

There are elements nodding to Lincoln Park’s Honeycomb Pavilion, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, and the bridges that span over the Chicago River.

“CD Peacock and Chicago were established in 1837, with CD Peacock being the first registered business in Chicago. The city and our brand have always been intertwined,” said Steven Holtzman, vice chairman of CD Peacock.

“By designing a collection inspired by some of the city’s great icons, there was no better way for us to commemorate love.”

The collection is available in 14- or 18-karat yellow, white, or rose gold. For the engagement rings, there are a variety of center diamond sizes and shapes available with either natural or lab-grown diamonds.

CD Peacock said that each ring can be customized for additional elements of personalization, as the collection was designed to be part of an engagement, wedding, or celebration of any milestone.

The bands retail for a starting price of $600, while the solitaire rings start at $1,350, which does not include the center stone.

Purchasing a ring from CD Peacock also includes lifetime complimentary cleanings, prong checks, and an insurance appraisal.

The Love and Celebration collection is available at CD Peacock’s locations at The Mansion at Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, Illinois and Woodfield Mall, in Schaumburg, Illinois. The jeweler encourages guests to make an appointment online here, but said it welcomes walk-ins.
