At Haute Jewels Geneva, a Deluxe Take on Fine Fashion

Should you find yourself in Geneva this week attending the Watches and Wonders fair, here’s an idea: Take a break from the horological madness to appreciate what some of the finest jewelers in the world have cooking, on view at the InterContinental Hotel Geneva, home to the latest edition of Haute Jewels Geneva.

Located just a six-minute drive from Palexpo, where Watches and Wonders takes place, Haute Jewels runs through April 6. The event unites 47 brands under a single roof. With many exhibitors representing the best in European design, the selection at the show is truly jaw-dropping, and makes it a one-stop shop for all your extra fine fashion needs.

Italy’s Dada Arrigoni is presenting a raft of new styles, including pieces from its iconic Elika collection, inspired by the graceful silhouette of maple seeds (which look like stylized snakes), and new Happy Frog styles starring the brand’s irrepressible amphibian.

Valenza, Italy–based Picchiotti is bringing the heat with a “significant number of high jewelry ensembles and singular pieces,” Maria Carola Picchiotti, the brand’s marketing director, tells JCK.

“We are also featuring new Reversible designs (patent pending), based on the positive reception when we introduced the concept last year. These new reversible styles allow consumers to wear two looks with one piece, by gently flipping them over as the need or mood arises. Examples include all gold on one side and diamond on the other, or different colored gemstones on each side to wear with different fabrics from the wardrobe.”
