Silvia Furmanovich Gets Wild in Patterns for New Fauna Collection

Featured

Silvia Furmanovich, the noted Brazilian designer, introduces new animal-themed patterns to her portfolio with Fauna, a capsule collection of jewels, clutches, and fine home goods.

Taking inspiration from the animal kingdom, Fauna features Furmanovich’s first creations with zebra, leopard, and tiger patterns—which are interpreted through hand-cut wood veneers.

“Animal markings are incredibly graphic and powerful. The challenge was transforming that strength into marquetry in a way that feels sophisticated and timeless,” Furmanovich said in a statement.

Another Furmanovich first for this capsule was using iridescent beetle wings within her signature butterfly style. She also used her traditional materials such as marquetry, carved wood, tiger cowrie shell, and embroidered horse mane.

Fauna’s jewelry includes rings, earrings, cuff bracelets, and bead-woven bracelets. Its home goods include hand mirrors, jewelry boxes, picture frames, and vases.

Furmanovich will debut the collection this Saturday at Muse Showroom in New York City, and will sign copies of her 2025 book, Journey of a Jeweler, at the launch event.

Here are some of the standout pieces from Furmanovich’s Fauna collection (all prices on request).
