TJS Announces Roundtable, Launches New App

The 2026 Jewelry Symposium will kick off with its second industry roundtable, titled “Rebuilding the Workforce.”

Troy, Mich.—The Jewelry Symposium (TJS) has announced the launch of its second industry roundtable, titled “Rebuilding the Workforce.”

The roundtable, set to take place May 16, will kick off the manufacturing technology-focused event, slated for May 16-19 at the Detroit Marriot Troy in Troy, Michigan.

It will be followed by the annual TJS welcome networking dinner.

“The consensus from our inaugural workforce roundtable in 2025 was that our industry must change the way it recruits, trains, and retains talent,” said Linus Drogs, TJS chairman of the board.

“This year, with ‘Rebuilding the Workforce,’ we'll take the next step by hearing from a variety of global industry professionals who are willing to share their successful strategies in attracting, training, and retaining qualified staff.”

TJS said it plans to offer virtual attendance to the roundtable.

Event organizers said jewelry industry companies interested in sharing strategies they found successful in retaining skilled staff should reach out to TJS here.

Registration for TJS is now open, and the roster of speakers and topics is posted on its website.

Early bird fees are available until March 31 at $1,320 per person or, for 3 attendees, $1,270 per person.

Attendees who book a room at the venue prior to registering will receive an additional $50 off of the registration fee.
