Tucson, Ariz.—The Ethical Gem Fair will return to Tucson, Arizona, next month, where it will debut a new showcase.
The event, organized by the Ethical Gem Suppliers Collective, aims to highlight responsible sourcing, transparent supply chains, and community-driven values within the industry.
It will be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral from Jan. 30-Feb. 2.
This year’s participating suppliers include Agere Treasures, Anza Gems, Capricorn Gems, Columbia Gem House, Nature’s Geometry/Quore, Nineteen48, Perpetuum Jewels, and Virtu Gem.
The 2026 fair will include a Designer Showcase for the first time, featuring finished jewelry created using “consciously sourced” gemstones.
Organizers said the showcase is designed to “highlight intentional design, material choices, and production decisions, while celebrating the growing network of designers committed to responsible practices.”
Presenting finished work alongside raw materials draws a clear connection between responsible choices and their final expression in jewelry, organizers said.
Also at the show, Columbia Gem House will showcase a new collection of faceted star-shaped gemstones in sapphire, citrine, neon green beryl, white quartz, and garnet, in calibrated 3 to 5.5mm sizes.
The supplier will also introduce faceted crescent moon cuts in sapphire and Idaho garnet in 5x3mm and 6 x4mm sizes, as well as an expanded selection of star cabochons in sapphire and ruby.
In addition, the company will debut rhodolite garnet from Idaho, developed from the same mining regions as its Idaho red garnet.
Columbia Gem House said the new offerings reflect its focus on American gem materials, distinctive cuts, and flexible options for innovative jewelry design, and this year’s lineup is one of its most creatively ambitious showcases to date.
This year’s Ethical Gem Fair will also feature a happy hour event co-hosted with the Community for Ethical Jewelry.
It is set for Feb. 1 from 4-6 p.m.
The event will feature a “Sip & Stamp” scavenger hunt, and participants will have a chance to win a collection of gems sourced from participating suppliers.
The Ethical Gem Fair welcomes designers, jewelers, and industry professionals seeking traceable materials, direct relationships, and deeper insight into how gemstones move from mine to market.
Registration is free but required for entry.
