AGA Announces 2026 Board

New York—The Accredited Gemologists Association (AGA) has announced its governing board for the 2026-2029 term.

Claire Scragg and Susan Eisen are new to the board.

Both bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for gemology that will strengthen AGA’s leadership, the association said.

Current members Stuart Robertson, Heidi Harders, Martin Fuller, Alberto Scarani, and Immediate Past President Teri Brossmer have been re-elected.

The new executive leadership team includes Dr. Çiğdem Lüle as president, Donna Hawrelko as vice president, Gary Roskin as secretary, and Adam Ostrow as treasurer.

“It has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life to serve as president of this esteemed association,” said Brossmer.

“As I pass the torch, I do so with complete confidence in AGA’s future. We are in the most capable hands with Dr. Çiğdem Lüle leading the way—her integrity, vision, and commitment to gemological education and excellence will undoubtedly guide AGA to even greater heights.”

Newly elected members will be sworn in at the AGA Tucson Gemological Conference on Feb. 4.

They will also be honored that evening during the AGA Gala Dinner.
