Kira Jewels Debuts Custom Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry Service

New York—Kira Jewels has launched a new custom lab-grown diamond jewelry offering, dubbed the Kira Custom Lab Jewelry service.

The New York-based company, one of the largest growers of CVD lab-grown diamonds, will now be a “one-stop shop” for retailers, designers, manufacturers, and e-commerce businesses looking to create custom engagement and fashion jewelry.

Kira’s new service covers every step of the custom design process including complimentary CAD design, photorealistic rendering approvals, multiple quality-control checkpoints, delivery, and optional drop shipping.

Customers will also have access to its inventory, which includes more than 150,000 certified lab-grown diamonds as well as non-certified options.

The service is designed to replace the traditional process that involves multiple vendors, said the company, offering a streamlined system instead.

To get the process started, jewelers have to upload a sketch, photo, or product link alongside design requirements, like the metal type and color.

When the jewelry design is approved, production begins.

Clients will receive a quote and an exact ship date within 24 hours, said the company.

The process will typically take less than 10 days for rings and stud earrings, and less than 15 days for more complex designs.

Most items are produced in the U.S. for reliability and oversight purposes, said Kira.

It currently works with nearly 2,000 retail partners, said the company.

The custom lab features an optional application programming interface (API) and integration capability, allowing clients to connect the service to their websites, internal systems, or store portals, allowing them to offer real-time customization options.
