A Cartier ring bearing an 18.25-carat sapphire will headline an upcoming Sotheby’s sale in Paris, where the company predicts it will fetch EUR 600,000 ($704,752).

The piece, featuring a cushion-shaped royal-blue Burmese sapphire between brilliant-cut and baguette diamond shoulders, will lead the September 30 Fine Jewelry sale, the company announced on its website. The auction will include 239 lots, comprising colored diamonds and different gemstones, some from designers such as Graff, Schreiner and Cartier.
