Martin Katz and Halston are coming together this weekend at Stanley Korshak.

The Beverly Hills, California-based jeweler is collaborating with the fashion house, now guided by Creative Director Ken Downing, on a special holiday trunk show pairing Katz’s one-of-a-kind creations with Halston gowns, both old and new.

Scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, at the Dallas luxury department store, the show will include pieces from Halston’s fall/winter 2024 and spring/summer 2025 collections, as well as fashions from the brand’s archives being made available for sale for the first time.

Among the Katz pieces slated to make an appearance is our pick for Piece of the Week.

These 18-karat white gold drop earrings feature two half-moon tanzanites weighing a total of 25 carats and accented by 76 round diamonds and 145 round sapphires.

So, what could you wear them with? Try a flowy, one-shoulder blue dress that is signature Halston and a matching Martin Katz ring set with a 14.5-carat oval-shaped tanzanite.

“Halston has always been about modern glamour; elegant, effortless, and unapologetic,” Downing said of the brand founded in the late 1960s by Roy Halston Frowick.

“It is the perfect pairing with Martin Katz’s spectacularly exquisite jewels, and perfect for the glamorous women of Dallas.”
