Marketing campaign launched to support Australian-made products

The Australian Government has allocated $20 million for a national campaign to promote local businesses.
Known as the ‘Made Right Here’ campaign, it will be disseminated through television, radio, print, out-of-home, digital, and social media platforms. The campaign was launched last week in New South Wales. Addressing the campaign, Tim Ayres, Minister for Industry and Innovation, emphasised the government’s commitment to supporting Australian-made products. “The Albanese Labor Government backs Aussie made products and shares with the Australian Made Campaign a vision for an Aussie-made future,” he said. “We know that if Aussie households spent an extra $10 a week on Australian-made products, it would boost our economy by $5 billion and create 10,000 jobs.” Recent Roy Morgan research indicates that 87 per cent of Australians value locally produced goods, and 79 per cent are willing to pay a premium. Furthermore, 99 per cent of consumers recognise the ‘Australian-made’ logo and associate it with trustworthy products.
