Bulgari Reimagines Costume Designers Guild Award

Bulgari reimagined the award statuette for the 2026 Costume Designers Guild Award that was originally designed by David Le Vey and minted by the jeweler.

Los Angeles—Bulgari has announced its partnership with the Costume Designers Guild, collaborating on a reimagined statuette for its 2026 Costume Designers Guild Awards (CDGA).

The collaboration is a celebration of the art of costume design and its vital role in cinematic storytelling, the LVMH-owned brand said, underscoring the enduring commitment both the jeweler and the union have to creativity, craftsmanship, and the communities shaping culture.

The renewed statuette will be awarded at the 28th CDGA set for Feb. 12, 2026.

It was originally envisioned by designer David Le Vey and minted by Bulgari nearly 30 years ago.

“What a dream to reimagine our magnificent partnership with Bulgari nearly 30 years after they minted our original statuette, we are so honored,” said Terry Ann Gordon, president of the Costume Designers Guild, IATSE Local 892.

Today, the reenvisioned statuette was inspired by the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age through Bulgari’s design lens.

It represents a symbolic reunion of artistry and inspiration, said Bulgari.

“Cinema and the arts have always been at the heart of Bulgari’s identity,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, outgoing CEO of Bulgari.

Award-winning costume designer Mark Bridges added, “By connecting the legacy of Hollywood glamour with the rich color combinations, including the ‘Polychroma’ high jewelry collection, Bulgari’s distinctive design sensibility aligns seamlessly with our work as costume designers.”

CDGA is an annual awards ceremony held by the Costume Designers Guild, which is a union that was formed for the promotion and protection of the art of costume design.

Actors, filmmakers, costume designers, and artists will gather at the awards that are slated for Feb. 12, 2026, at The Ebell in Los Angeles.

The CDGA host, presenters, and additional honorees will be announced in the coming week.
