Blue Nile, Zac Posen Introduce Genderless Bridal Line

Seattle—Blue Nile has a new genderless bridal jewelry line, courtesy of fashion designer Zac Posen.

The 12-piece collection includes wedding bands and engagement rings, available in sizes 4 to 13.

The new designs, with most styles available in 14-karat white and yellow gold or platinum, are priced from $1,000 up to $6,750.

“More and more, we are seeing a growing demand for inclusive jewelry pieces that symbolize love and commitment in all forms,” said Blue Nile Chief Merchandising Officer Katie Zimmerman in a press release about the collection.

“As a designer at the forefront of trends, we loved collaborating with Zac to deliver a fresh-yet-timeless line that we think customers will love.” 

Posen, famous for his evening gown designs, carried over his glamourous expertise to the new collection.

“Designing for-occasion jewelry – especially wedding—is always a welcome challenge for me because you’re creating enduring pieces that people will hopefully wear every day for the rest of their lives,” said Posen.

From east-west solitaires to Art Deco-inspired designs, Posen’s collection incorporates a variety of popular styles.

“Engagement rings and wedding bands are one of the purest and oldest symbols of love and marriage, that have crossed over traditions and withstood time. For this collection, it was important for me to create unique and ageless designs that also celebrate love, unity and marriage for all.” 

This is not Posen’s first time designing for Blue Nile. His ZAC Zac Posen jewelry line, which includes necklaces, earrings, and other designs, is exclusive to the company.

The new genderless collection by Zac Posen is available on Blue Nile now.

Blue Nile is in the midst of a three-year brick-and-mortar expansion, with plans announced in October 2020 to open 50 new locations in the top metro-area markets in the United States.

Its newest location will be in the King of Prussia shopping center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, marking the company’s first physical showroom in the state.

The doors will open July 9.

Walk-ins are welcome, said Blue Nile, but shoppers are encouraged to book an appointment before visiting.
