Chic Men’s Wrist Wear Styles in Black and White

Last week, we told you that when it comes to men’s jewelry, the focus of attention had shifted from the wrist to the neck. We’re not going back on that assertion, but we need to clarify something: In no way does the growing selection of men’s pendants and necklaces suggest that men’s bracelets and other wrist wear are somehow irrelevant.

Quite the opposite!

The wrist is an easy place for men to begin their jewelry journey. Mixed with a timepiece, a cord bracelet or chain-link style need not stand alone. Wrist wear can be tucked beneath a shirt cuff or collected and worn in multiples. And, oh, the options! Bracelets (or watches) come in blackened metals, embellished with diamonds, in sophisticated platinum, or even in silver coated in a lume powder that enables it to glow in the dark (Chris Ploof, we’re looking at you!).

If you’re introducing your male clients to jewelry, consider starting with pieces in a palette of black and white. Easier to mix and match with a wardrobe, they’re less likely to be met with resistance than more colorful styles that may make a first-timer feel self-conscious.

And as with all of the “men’s” styles featured below, the designation is becoming increasingly arbitrary. Women or nonbinary folk attracted to minimal jewels are sure to love them too.
