Christie’s Launches ‘Jewels Online’ Auction Led by 10.02-Carat Diamond Ring

Christie’s has announced the launch of ‘Jewels Online’, its first jewellery auction of 2026, featuring a curated selection of diamonds, coloured gemstones and signed jewels from leading luxury houses. The online sale opened for bidding on 9 March and will run until 19 March, with highlights on preview at Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries in New York from 16–18 March.

The auction is led by a 10.02-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, estimated at $500,000–$700,000, underscoring continued demand for sizeable, high-quality diamonds in the global auction market. Other notable lots include a pair of diamond stud earrings estimated at $300,000–$500,000, and a Kashmir sapphire and diamond ring with a 4.74-carat sapphire estimated at $120,000–$180,000.

The sale also features signed jewellery from renowned houses such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb, Hemmerle, and Seaman Schepps, highlighting continued collector interest in branded and heritage pieces. Among the highlighted items is a pair of Hemmerle multi-gem tassel earrings estimated at $30,000–$50,000.

Additional offerings include pieces from notable private collections. Property formerly from The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor features a diamond and gold evening bag estimated at $10,000–$15,000, alongside a ruby and diamond jewellery set estimated at $15,000–$20,000.
