Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi Wear Matching Cece Jewellery Signet Rings

Actors Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi wear their matching bespoke signet rings by Cece Jewellery made to honor their roles in the new “Wuthering Heights” film during its press tour.

Star-crossed lovers are a tale as old as time, and next week, the 1847 story of Cathy and Heathcliff is back on the big screen.

Oscar-winning director Emerald Fennell’s adaption of Emily Brontë’s gothic novel “Wuthering Heights” is set to be released in theaters on Feb. 13 and the actors portraying the doomed couple are indulging in the themes of romance and yearning for its press tour.

Margot Robbie—who plays Cathy Earnshaw—and Jacob Elordi—who plays Heathcliff—have been spotted wearing matching bespoke signet rings by Cece Jewellery on their pinky fingers.

These gothic-inspired rings, our Pieces of the Week, were crafted for the stars to honor their characters.

The bespoke 18-karat yellow gold signet rings feature hand engravings and champlevé enamel paintings nodding to the film, including a quote from Emily Brontë. It reads, “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."

Cece Fein-Hughes, the founder of her namesake brand, worked with Robbie’s stylist Andrew Mukamal to create the two rings that she said symbolize Heathcliff and Catherine, and a love that transcends time.

The 18-karat yellow gold rings focus on a champlevé enamel portrait of two skeletons locked in an embrace in a bed of roses and thorns, with the skeletons in the same position Robbie and Elordi are pictured in for the film poster.

This embrace entwined with roses and thorns represents passion, beauty, and heartbreak, said Fein-Hughes.

Encircling the skeletons is a ring of diamonds and Brontë’s quote reading, “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same."

On one side, the rings are hand-engraved with “C&H,” which stands for the characters Cathy and Heathclif, while the other side is engraved with “1847-2026,” referencing 1847 as the original publication date of the “Wuthering Heights” novel and 2026 as the year of this film adaptation.

These engravings are a quiet tribute to “two characters, and two souls, bound together forever,” said Fein-Hughes.

Robbie debuted her ring in an Instagram post on Mukamal’s page while Elordi was first spotted wearing his on Jimmy Kimmel, after Robbie had gifted it to him.

“It was such a special request to create these matching rings, not only to honor Wuthering Heights, but also the characters and the time Margot and Jacob spent together bringing the film to life,” said Fein-Hughes.

“Margot gifting this to Jacob offered such a beautiful insight into how deeply connected you can become when working together on something so powerful and romantic.”

Fein-Hughs is a goldsmith who founded her namesake brand in 2021. She is known for her hand-enameled charms and signet rings that are inspired by folklore, fairytales, Victorian nautical tattoos, and the Devon moors where she grew up.

Her Cece Jewellery designs have also been worn by Justin Bieber, Scarlett Johanssen, Emily Blunt, Elle and Dakota Fanning, and commissioned by Gigi Hadid as bespoke best friend rings for Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.
