Maria Doulton, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Jewellery Editor, was quoted in Bride Magazine for an article entitled: “What’s the Difference Between Lab-Grown and Natural Diamonds". Maria remarked: "The differences are not in the physical make-up of the stone but in the source. What matters is how you feel about that.”

The quote was from the extensive archive of articles on engagement rings and lab-grown and natural diamonds. Founded in London in 2000 by Maria Doulton and Christine Pasquier, The Jewellery Editor has published over 3,380 articles on fine and high jewellery as well as watches, with an entire section devoted to bridal jewels.
