Katkim Launches First Men’s Collection

Los Angeles—Katkim has released its first dedicated men’s collection.

Each piece in the new offering is guided by clean geometry and timeless materials, the brand said.

The line offers a variety of pieces that fit into design themes seen in the Los Angeles fine jewelry brand’s existing collections.

Katkim has reimagined pieces from its core “Anerise” and “Mono” collections, tweaking the designs to tailor them for men.

This includes amplifying forms, adding strong proportions, and giving the pieces a weight that feels intentional while keeping the same sculptural language, Katkim said.

In one example, the brand transformed its “Mono” earring motif into a chain for “Mono” necklaces and bracelets in the men’s collection.

A new series was also created exclusively for the men’s line.

The series, titled “Shadow,” features sculptural shapes evoking architecture through contours in the metal, which are left as open space or accented with diamonds or emeralds.

Katherine Kim, founder and designer of her namesake brand, created the men’s line because she noticed how often men were looking for jewelry for themselves but finding limited options in modern styles.

Kim, who has been creating bespoke pieces for more than a decade, had been listening to the input and curiosity of these men, and it became part of her process. 

“This collection grew out of those years listening, designing, and gathering insights from those conversations, it felt like the right moment to create a collection designed with intention for a new generation of men,” Kim said. 

She added, “It’s an exciting time because men are finally claiming jewelry as part of their everyday and wearing it with confidence. It’s no longer just about a watch, there’s a real appetite for fine jewelry, and this felt like the perfect moment to answer it.”
